Congratulations to The xx who took home the
Barclaycard Mercury Prize Album of the Year Award.

The subtle-vampy brits have not only managed to take over my soul, but have been on a hot streak for a while now and i honestly dont see any of that momentum slowing down. With nominees like Corinne Bailey Rae, Paul Weller, and Wild Beasts, its safe to say that the groups self-titled debut album 'xx' was a constant repeat on every ones playlist.
